The Tata Nexon with a Panoramic Sunroof model comes with a choice of petrol and diesel engines.
Tata Motors recently added a panoramic sunroof to more versions of the Tata Nexon. This feature was first available in the CNG model, and now it’s also offered in the petrol and diesel Nexon on the top-tier Fearless + PS trim. Additionally, the Nexon CNG now includes the sunroof on the higher-spec Creative + PS trim.
Tata Nexon Variants and Price
The Nexon comes with a panoramic sunroof and is priced from Rs 13.60 lakh to Rs 15.60 lakh. If you opt for the Nexon CNG model with a panoramic sunroof, it will cost you between Rs 12.80 lakh and Rs 14.60 lakh. Keep in mind that the Nexon and XUV 3XO are the only compact SUVs that offer a sunroof option.

The Nexon Petrol options start with the MT Fearless+PS variant priced at Rs 13.60 lakh and the DCT Fearless+PS variant at Rs 14.80 lakh. Moving to the Nexon Diesel, the MT Fearless+PS comes at Rs 15.00 lakh, while the AMT Fearless+PS variant is available at Rs 15.60 lakh.
The Nexon CNG offers additional variants with the panoramic sunroof: the iCNG Creative+PS, priced at Rs 12.80 lakh, the iCNG Creative+PS DT, priced at Rs 13.00 lakh, and the iCNG Fearless+PS DT, priced at Rs 14.60 lakh. (All prices are ex-showroom.)

The Nexon Powertrain
The Nexon offers a choice between two engines. One is a 1.2L turbo petrol engine that gives you 118 bhp and 170 Nm of torque. You can pair this engine with a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, or a 7-speed DCT. The other option is a 1.5L diesel engine with 114 bhp and 260 Nm of torque. This engine can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or an AMT transmission. Additionally, there is a CNG option with the same 1.2L turbo petrol engine, offering 99 bhp and 170 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.

Tata Nexon Safety Features
The Tata Nexon SUV includes six airbags as a basic safety feature. This includes dual front airbags, curtain, and side airbags. Additionally, the Nexon is equipped with safety elements such as an Electronic Stability Program (ESP), ISOFIX anchorages, seatbelt reminders for all passengers, reverse parking sensors, and central locking, which are standard in all models.
The higher-end models of the Tata Nexon SUV come with extra safety features including a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), a blind spot-view monitor, front parking sensors, and a rear-view camera. Additionally, the new Nexon introduces a 360-degree camera that provides a full view of the vehicle.
