Oben Rorr EZ Electric Motorcycle Bookings Open at Rs 2,999 with Three Battery Choices
Oben Rorr electric motorcycle now has a new version called Oben Rozz EZ, designed as a commuter electric bike. You can get it at a starting price of ₹89,999 (ex-showroom). This is Oben’s second offering after the Rorr and offers three battery options: 2.6kWh, 3.4kWh, and 4.4kWh. You can book the Oben Rorr EZ now for just Rs 2,999.
The Oben Rorr EZ comes at different prices depending on the variant you choose: Rs 89,999 for the 2.6kWh model, Rs 99,999 for the 3.4kWh version, and Rs 1.10 lakh for the 4.4kWh model. When you buy an Oben, you get a warranty of 3 years or 50,000km on both the battery pack and the motor. If you want, you can extend this warranty to 5 years or 75,000km. This Bengaluru startup is currently operating in Bengaluru, Pune, Delhi, Jaipur, and Kerala.

Oben Rorr EZ Features
The motorcycle has a familiar round LED headlight, a strong fuel tank, and tank shrouds. Plus, it has a tab-shaped instrument panel with a complete digital screen, similar to the Oben Rorr. It also includes features like a Driver Alert System, Theft Protection, Unified Brake Assist, and USB charging. The basic 2.6kWh version of the Rorr EZ is available in Flux Grey, while the other two models come in Electro Amber, Surge Cyan, Lumina Green, and Photon White colors.

Oben Rorr EZ Battery Pack
Oben provided the estimated IDC range for each of the three modes available in the Rorr EZ – Eco, City, and Havoc. The 2.6kWh version has an estimated IDC range of 80km, 60km, and 50km for each mode. On the other hand, the 3.4kWh model offers higher IDC numbers with 110km, 90km, and 70km, respectively. As anticipated, the 4.4kWh model boasts the longest range, providing 140km, 110km, and 90km for Eco, City, and Havoc modes, respectively.
You can charge the Rorr EZ using the charger that comes with the bike or opt for a faster charger that costs Rs 24,999. Charging the Rorr EZ’s battery from empty to full takes 4 hours for the 2.6kWh version, 5 hours for the 3.4kWh, and 7 hours for the 4.4kWh option. With the fast charger, you can reach 80% charge in 45 minutes for the 2.6kWh, 1 hour 30 minutes for the 3.4kWh, and 2 hours for the 4.4kWh variants.

Oben Rorr EZ Powertrain
The Rorr EZ has a powerful motor that can deliver up to 7.5kW and 52Nm of torque. This means that all three versions can go from 0 to 40 km/h in just 3.3 seconds. In Havoc mode, they can hit a top speed of 95 km/h. If you switch to Eco mode, the speed is capped at 40 km/h, while City mode limits it to 50 km/h. All Oben Rorr EZ models can reach a maximum speed of 95 km/h and achieve 0-40 km/h acceleration in 3.3 seconds.
The three versions of the Rorr EZ are quite similar at their core, with the same engine and main structure. According to Oben, the Rorr EZ is equipped with a top-notch IP67-certified high-power LFP battery pack. This battery pack is said to offer 50% better temperature resistance and a significantly longer lifespan.
