Ajith Kumar’s Porsche Spins Out During High-Speed Race in Dubai
On January 8, 2025, South Indian actor and racer Ajith Kumar, popularly known as ‘Thala’ among his fans, experienced a high-speed crash during a practice session at the Dubai Autodrome. This incident occurred as he was preparing for the upcoming 2025 Dubai 24 Hours race.

Ajith Kumar was driving a Porsche 992 GT3 Cup car when he spun out and crashed into a track wall. Despite the severity of the crash, Ajith walked away without any injuries. His team, Ajith Kumar Racing, confirmed that he was safe and unharmed. A video of the incident showed the actor being rescued by the emergency team and walking without any evident signs of injury.
The practice session was part of the preparations for the 2025 Dubai 24 Hours race, scheduled to be held from January 10th to 12th, 2025. Ajith’s teammates for this race include Mathieu Detry, Fabian Duffieux, and Cameron McLeod.
