BMW R 1300 GS Adventure Bookings Open Now, Deliveries Start in April
The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 witnessed the grand launch of the BMW R 1300 GS Adventure, a motorcycle that promises to redefine the adventure touring segment in India. Priced at Rs 22.95 lakh (ex-showroom), the R 1300 GS Adventure is Rs 1.75 lakh more expensive than its standard counterpart, the BMW R 1300 GS.
The BMW R 1300 GS Adventure is available in four distinct variants: Basic, Triple Black, Style GS Trophy, and 719 Karakorum. The R 1300 GS Adventure Trophy is perfect for off-road adventures with sporty features. R 1300 GS Adventure Triple Black provides top comfort and versatility. R 1300 GS Adventure Option 719 Karakorum offers premium customization and performance upgrades for those seeking the best.

BMW R 1300 GS Adventure Design and Key Features
The R 1300 GS Adventure boasts a 30-litre fuel tank, significantly larger than the standard R 1300 GS. This extended range is perfect for long-distance touring, allowing riders to cover more ground without frequent refueling stops. Additionally, there is an optional 12-litre tank bag with a waterproof inner compartment for added convenience.
BMW has packed the R 1300 GS Adventure with features to ensure a comfortable ride. Heated grips, a keyless ride system, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and engine drag torque control are now standard. The motorcycle also includes BMW Motorrad Full Integral ABS Pro, Cruise Control DCC with brake function, DSA, and auxiliary headlamps.

One of the standout features of the R 1300 GS Adventure is its Advanced Rider Assistance Systems (ADAS). This includes the Riding Assistant with Active Cruise Control (ACC), Front Collision Warning (FCW), Lane Change Warning, and Rear End Collision Warning (RECW). These systems enhance safety and convenience, making long rides more enjoyable and less stressful.

BMW R 1300 GS Adventure Engine and Performance
The R 1300 GS Adventure is powered by the same air/liquid-cooled twin-cylinder four-stroke boxer engine. found in the R 1300 GS. This engine delivers an impressive 143 bhp of maximum power at 7,750 rpm and a peak torque of 149 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The motorcycle is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox, and for those who prefer an automatic option, there is an Automated Shift Assistant available.
The motorcycle offers four riding modes, a Matrix headlamp, hand protectors with integrated turn indicators, and dynamic traction control. Advanced features like Engine Drag Torque Control (MSR), Dynamic Brake Control (DBC), and Hill Start Control (HSC) are also included. The Electronic Dynamic Suspension Adjustment ensures a smooth ride across various terrains.
