Moto Morini X-Cape 700 Unleashed: Bigger 693cc Engine, 10hp Power Boost

The Moto Morini X-Cape 700 has finally been revealed with exciting upgrades that make it even more enticing for adventure riders. First showcased at EICMA 2024, the X-Cape 700 now boasts a more powerful engine, refined features, and advanced technology—all set to hit the roads by June 2025.

Enhanced Engine Performance

Moto Morini has upgraded the displacement of its parallel-twin engine from 649 cc to 693 cc, increasing the stroke by 4 mm. The motor now includes lighter pistons and a new free-flow exhaust, pushing the power output to an impressive 70 hp at 8,500 rpm with a peak torque of 68 Nm at 6,500 rpm. Riders can expect a thrilling top speed of 170 kmph, along with the ease of a 6-speed gearbox featuring a slip and assist clutch.

Robust Suspension & Braking System

Sticking with its steel trellis frame and Aluminium swingarm, the X-Cape 700 continues to sport 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, available in alloy or spoked rims. On the braking front, the bike gets twin 298 mm discs with 2-piston floating callipers upfront, complemented by a single 255 mm rear disc with a 2-piston calliper. Bosch ABS ensures safety, while riders can disconnect the rear ABS for better off-road control.

Suspension-wise, the Marzocchi 50 mm fully adjustable USD fork at the front provides 175 mm travel, while the Kayaba monoshock at the rear offers 165 mm travel with adjustment for preload and rebound, ensuring a smooth ride over rough terrains.
