At first glance, the 2026 Model S closely resembles its predecessor, but keen-eyed enthusiasts will notice updates such as revised headlights with adaptive beams, subtle tweaks to the taillights, and a reworked front bumper, particularly on the Plaid variant. Tesla has introduced new wheel designs, offering 19-inch or 21-inch options depending on the trim. The Plaid version, while performance-oriented, also sees a range boost to 592 km—a small but welcome improvement over its predecessor.

2026 Tesla Model S: Pricing and Market Position
As Tesla continues refining the Model S, prices have increased compared to previous models. The standard All-Wheel Drive Model S now starts at $86,630 (approximately Rs 74 lakh), while the Plaid edition comes in at $101,630 (approximately Rs 87 lakh). While still competitive within the premium EV space, these figures push the Model S further into the luxury category, rivaling offerings from brands like Lucid Motors and Mercedes-Benz.
