In a groundbreaking shift for India’s electric vehicle (EV) market, Oben Electric has launched its flagship urban commuter, the Rorr EZ, on Amazon India. Priced between Rs 1,19,999 and Rs 1,29,999, this move marks a strategic blend of digital convenience and traditional dealership support—aimed at accelerating EV adoption across the country.

Performance & Specifications
It’s powered by a 7.5 kW PMS motor, which is equal to about 10 horsepower, and delivers strong acceleration with 52 Nm of torque, allowing it to go from 0 to 40 km/h in just 3.3 seconds. The top speed reaches 95 km/h. You can choose between two battery sizes, 3.4 kWh and 4.4 kWh, providing an IDC certified range of up to 175 km.
This vehicle uses Oben’s own ARX platform with LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery technology. LFP batteries are known to last twice as long and handle heat 50% better, making them a great choice for India’s climate and busy traffic conditions.

Oben Rorr EZ Features
The motorcycle has a familiar round LED headlight, a strong fuel tank, and tank shrouds. Plus, it has a tab-shaped instrument panel with a complete digital screen, similar to the Oben Rorr. It also includes features like a Driver Alert System, Theft Protection, Unified Brake Assist, and USB charging. The basic 2.6kWh version of the Rorr EZ is available in Flux Grey, while the other two models come in Electro Amber, Surge Cyan, Lumina Green, and Photon White colors.
