Bajaj Pulsar 180 launched at ₹1.22 lakh with LED headlight, LCD dash, and a 178cc engine
Bajaj Auto has reignited excitement in the Indian motorcycle market by relaunching the iconic Pulsar 180, priced at ₹1.22 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). After being discontinued in 2022, the Pulsar 180 makes a strong comeback, filling the gap between the Pulsar 150 and the 220F.

The new Bajaj Pulsar 180 carries forward the familiar 178.6cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, producing 17hp at 8,500rpm and 15Nm at 6,500rpm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. While peak power remains unchanged from the earlier version, torque has seen a slight bump, making it more responsive in everyday riding conditions.

Braking duties are handled by a 280mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc, supported by ABS for added safety. The suspension setup remains true to the classic Pulsar DNA, with telescopic forks at the front and twin-shock absorbers at the rear. A 15-litre fuel tank, 156kg kerb weight, and 165mm ground clearance make it a practical yet performance-oriented choice.
In terms of features, Bajaj has equipped the Pulsar 180 with a modern LED headlight and a negative LCD instrument cluster, both of which were recently introduced on the Pulsar 150. Riders can choose from five striking colour options: black-gold, black-blue, black-grey, black-red, and white.
