KTM 390 Adventure Gets New 350cc Engine at Rs 2.81 Lakh

KTM India launches KTM 390 Adventure with 350cc engine, offering better value and efficiency while retaining premium features.

KTM has expanded its popular Adventure lineup with the launch of the KTM 390 Adventure powered by a new 350cc engine, priced at ₹2.81 lakh (ex-showroom). This move strategically positions the bike as a more accessible option for riders who want the thrill of adventure touring without stretching their budget too far.

The new 350cc single-cylinder engine produces 40.43 bhp and 33.5 Nm of torque, slightly lower than the 399cc variant’s 44.2 bhp and 39 Nm. While performance takes a modest dip, KTM expects riders to benefit from improved fuel efficiency—an appealing factor for long-distance touring enthusiasts.

Interestingly, KTM continues to sell the 399cc version alongside the new 350cc model, with prices starting at ₹3.43 lakh. This creates a significant price gap, making the 350cc variant a compelling value proposition. In fact, it is only ₹35,000 costlier than the KTM 250 Adventure, which makes it an attractive upgrade for riders seeking more power and premium features without a steep jump in price.

Beyond the engine, the motorcycle remains identical to its bigger sibling. Riders still get long-travel suspension, TFT display, LED lighting, and the same wheelbase and ground clearance—ensuring no compromise on the adventure DNA KTM is known for.

With this launch, KTM has cleverly tapped into India’s tax benefits for motorcycles under 350cc, making the 390 Adventure more competitive in the segment. For adventure seekers, this means a chance to own a feature-packed touring machine at a more approachable price point.
