The highlight of the update is the larger 16‑inch central touchscreen, accompanied by refreshed upholstery choices in all‑black or grey. Tesla has extended the grey finish to the centre console, while the black option now includes a dark headliner.

Mechanically, the Model Y Premium RWD is powered by the Standard Range battery, delivering up to 500 km WLTP range. It supports Tesla’s Supercharging at up to 175 kW, capable of adding 238 km of range in just 15 minutes. Performance figures remain unchanged, with a 0‑100 km/h sprint in 5.9 seconds and a kerb weight of 1,928 kg.

Bookings are now open, with deliveries scheduled to begin in July 2026. The Premium RWD will be sold alongside the larger Model Y L, giving Indian buyers more flexibility in Tesla’s EV lineup.
