Kia India has officially launched the 2027 Kia Sorento, marking its entry into the strong hybrid SUV segment for the Indian market. Priced from ₹27.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the Sorento is positioned as a premium three-row SUV with both strong hybrid and diesel powertrain options, catering to diverse buyer preferences.

The 2027 Kia Sorento is available in six trims—HTE, HTE(O), HTK, HTK(A), HTX, and HTX(A)—with configurations for six and seven seats. The hybrid variant pairs a 1.6-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 177 bhp with a 64 bhp electric motor, delivering a combined torque of 265 Nm. Meanwhile, the 2.2-litre diesel engine generates 190 bhp and 442 Nm, paired with an 8-speed DCT. Buyers can choose between front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive setups depending on the variant.

Design highlights include Kia’s signature Tiger Nose grille, cube-style LED headlamps, and India-specific touches like higher-set roof rails and unique alloy designs. Inside, the SUV boasts a modern dashboard with dual 12.3-inch displays, switchable infotainment and climate controls, and premium seating options including captain seats in select trims.
Feature-rich across variants, the Sorento offers a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, Bose audio, 360-degree cameras, Level 2 ADAS with up to 30 safety features, and a head-up display in higher trims. The HTX(A) variant tops the range with advanced driver assistance and 10 airbags, ensuring safety and comfort.
