Kia Syros EV launched in India, offering up to 526 km range, DC fast charging, Level 2 ADAS, and Battery-as-a-Service.
India’s electric mobility space has just welcomed a major new contender — the Kia Syros EV, launched at a starting price of ₹13.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The Syros EV is offered with two battery pack options — a 42 kWh unit delivering 443 km of claimed range, and a larger 51.4 kWh pack capable of 526 km (ARAI certified) on a single charge.
Both versions support 100 kW DC fast charging, enabling a 10–80% charge in just 39 minutes. Under the hood, the SUV is powered by a 169 bhp motor mounted on the front axle, paired with regenerative braking, paddle shifters, i-Pedal technology, and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality.

Visually, the Kia Syros EV retains the familiar ICE Syros design but adds EV-specific touches like LED fog lamps, a charging port above the front wheel, and striking Star Map LED lighting. Buyers can choose from nine exterior colors and three interior themes, including exclusive options for the X-Line variant.

Inside, the cabin features Kia’s triple-screen setup — a 12.3-inch infotainment display, 12.3-inch driver cluster, and a 5-inch climate control screen. Premium touches include a Harman Kardon sound system, ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof, and Kia Connect 2.0 with 95+ connected car features.
Safety is another highlight, with six airbags, ESC, TPMS, ISOFIX mounts, and Level 2 ADAS offering 16 autonomous functions such as Forward Collision Avoidance, Lane Keeping Assist, and Smart Cruise Control. Kia has also introduced a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, allowing customers to buy the SUV from ₹7.99 lakh and pay separately for battery usage at ₹3.3/km.
