2026 Maruti Suzuki Baleno facelift launched at ₹6.10 lakh with Level 2 ADAS, new Z‑Series engine, and improved fuel efficiency.
Maruti Suzuki has officially unveiled the 2026 Baleno facelift, bringing a fresh wave of updates to one of India’s most popular premium hatchbacks. Priced from ₹6.10 lakh (ex‑showroom), the new Baleno is ₹10,000 costlier than its predecessor but justifies the hike with segment‑first technology and a revamped powertrain.
The biggest highlight is the introduction of Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), making the Baleno the most affordable hatchback in India to feature adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and other advanced safety aids.

Under the hood, the hatchback now runs on Maruti Suzuki’s new 1.2‑litre three‑cylinder Z‑Series engine, producing 81 bhp and 112 Nm of torque. This engine, already seen in the Swift and Dzire, has been tuned for stronger low‑end performance. Buyers can choose between a five‑speed manual or AMT gearbox, with claimed fuel efficiency figures of 23.80 km/l (MT) and 24.77 km/l (AMT). A factory‑fitted S‑CNG variant is also available, delivering an impressive 33.61 km/kg.

On the design front, the 2026 Baleno facelift introduces a sportier bumper, a reworked grille with chrome accents, and a new ‘Enigmatic Teal’ shade. The side profile retains its familiar silhouette but adds chrome detailing near the A‑pillar, while the rear remains unchanged.
Inside, the cabin layout has been refined with a flowing dashboard and premium features such as a 9‑inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ventilated front seats, cooled wireless charging, a head‑up display, and a 360‑degree camera.
