BGauss has expanded its electric scooter lineup with the launch of the C12 MaxR, priced at ₹1.46 lakh. Positioned as a premium offering, the BGauss C12 MaxR combines performance, practicality, and smart features to appeal to urban riders seeking sustainable mobility.

Built on the company’s WSA platform, the scooter uses high-tensile micro-alloy steel, engineered for durability up to 1.5 lakh km. Powering the MaxR is a 3.8 kWh IP67-rated LFP battery, delivering a certified range of 178 km on a single charge. Paired with a 4.2 kW motor, it achieves a top speed of 75 kmph. Riders can choose between Eco, Ride, and Sport modes, while features like reverse assist, cruise control, and regenerative braking enhance convenience.
Safety is a priority, with the scooter’s Battery Management System offering 110 protection features. On the design front, the MaxR sports a refreshed headlight, new color schemes, and an all-LED lighting setup. It rides on 12-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres, supported by hydraulic telescopic front forks and a Nitrox gas-emulsion rear suspension for comfort.

Tech-savvy riders will appreciate the 5-inch TFT display, offering navigation, call alerts, ride statistics, and multiple themes. Practical touches like under-seat storage, a pop-out umbrella holder, wireless charging, and dedicated compartments make the MaxR versatile for daily use.
