Bajaj Auto has broadened its lineup of electric scooters by introducing the new Bajaj Chetak 2901. Priced at Rs 95,998 (ex-showroom), this fresh model features a sturdy metal frame and cutting-edge technology, making it attractive to riders who prefer both traditional and electric vehicles. The Chetak 2901 is tailored for daily commuting, boasting an impressive range of 123km (ARAI-certified). It comes in various colors like Red, White, Black, Lime Yellow, and Azure Blue to suit your style.
Bajaj Chetak 2901 Advanced Features
The Bajaj Chetak 2901 comes with alloy wheels and a colorful digital instrument cluster that connects via Bluetooth, making your ride more comfortable and convenient. For an additional Rs 3,000, you can enhance your experience with TecPac, The vehicle comes with some additional features such as hill hold, reverse assistance, call and music management, Sport and Eco driving options, geo-fencing, Follow Me Home lights, Bluetooth App connection for your convenience.
The scooter is powered by a 2.9 kWh battery pack, the same one used in the Urbane version. This means the scooter can reach speeds of up to 63 kph. It also comes with an eco mode as a standard feature. If you choose the TecPac, you will also have access to a sport mode. It takes about six hours to fully charge the scooter, giving you a range of 123 km. Additionally, the scooter is equipped with an off-board charger and has an IP67 rating for water resistance.

Mr. Eric Vas, President of Urbanite at Bajaj Auto, mentioned that the Chetak 2901 is crafted and priced to draw in petrol scooter buyers without stretching their budget. The scooters will be available for purchase starting June 15th. Bajaj has broadened its dealer network, with more than 500 showrooms nationwide now selling Chetak scooters.
