Tata Curvv EV Dark Edition: Exclusive to Empowered+ Variant with Rs 25,000 Premium

Tata Motors has expanded its electric vehicle lineup with the introduction of the Tata Curvv EV Dark Edition. Priced at Rs 22.24 lakh (ex-showroom), the new variant is based on the top-spec Empowered+ trim and brings an elegant, all-black makeover to the popular coupe SUV. This marks Tata’s second electric vehicle to receive the Dark Edition treatment, following the Nexon EV.

What’s New in the Dark Edition?

The Tata Curvv EV Dark Edition stands out with its stylish Carbon Black exterior paint. The usual chrome accents have been replaced with sleek black elements, including 18-inch alloy wheels, to maintain the theme. The signature ‘DARK’ badging on the fenders and contrasting blue ‘EV’ badges complete the refreshed look.

Features That Set It Apart

Despite the aesthetic updates, the Dark Edition retains the robust feature set of the non-Dark variant. Key highlights include:

  • A 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
  • A 10.25-inch digital driver’s display.
  • JBL premium audio system, ambient lighting, and a panoramic sunroof.
  • Ventilated front seats with an integrated air purifier.

The vehicle is also equipped with Level 2 ADAS for advanced safety, along with six airbags, a 360-degree camera, rear parking sensors, and TPMS. The Tata Curvv EV is not just about performance and style—it’s also a benchmark for safety. It became Tata’s third EV to secure a stellar 5-star safety rating from BNCAP during its crash tests in October 2024.
