New Kia Carnival Achieves 3,350 Bookings and Delivers 400 Units Since Launch
Kia India launched its all-new Carnival MPV on October 3rd, and it’s currently experiencing a significant demand. The company has confirmed a six-month waiting period for the vehicle, indicating that new bookings will take approximately six months to be fulfilled. As of now, Kia India has received 3,350 bookings for the fourth-generation Carnival, with 400 units already delivered to customers.
The all-new Carnival is offered in a single, fully-equipped 7-seater configuration with a 2+2+3 seating layout. Kia India has reported equal demand for both available colors: Glacier White Pearl and Fusion Black. To meet this rising demand, the automaker is seeking additional production kits from its headquarters. The Carnival is locally assembled at Kia India’s Ananthapur, Andhra Pradesh plant, with a current monthly capacity of approximately 300 units produced from semi-knocked-down kits.

Kia Carnival Price, Features
The latest, fully-equipped Kia Carnival, powered by a single diesel engine, is now available in India with a starting price of Rs 63.90 lakh (ex-showroom). This represents a considerable price hike compared to its previous model. You can secure your spot for the next-generation Carnival by paying a token amount of Rs 2 lakh.
The Kia Carnival comes in one fully packed version. It includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen that works with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. You’ll also find an 11-inch head-up display, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, connected car technology, and ambient lighting with 64 colors. Inside, there’s a premium 12-speaker Bose sound system, a 12-way adjustable driver’s seat, and wireless charging pads. Plus, enjoy ventilated seats in the front and second rows, a 4-spoke steering wheel, dual electric sunroofs, and three-zone climate control.

2024 Kia Carnival: Powertrain
When we talk about the mechanical aspects, Kia will offer just one engine choice in India. The upcoming Carnival will still run on the familiar Smartstream 2.2-liter, four-cylinder, CRDi turbocharged diesel engine, like its predecessor. This engine delivers 193bhp of power and 441Nm of torque. Paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox, it drives the front wheels.
