The luxury SUV segment in India has just welcomed a new icon. Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has officially launched the 2026 Range Rover Sport Autobiography, priced at ₹1.60 crore (ex-showroom) for the locally assembled version. This marks a significant milestone as the model is now available in both locally manufactured and fully imported (CBU) guises, catering to diverse buyer preferences.

The locally assembled Autobiography comes with two six-cylinder engine options: a 3.0-litre turbo-petrol producing 394 bhp and 550 Nm, and a 3.0-litre diesel delivering 346 bhp and 700 Nm. Both variants feature mild-hybrid technology for improved efficiency. For enthusiasts seeking more power, the CBU version offers a BMW-sourced 4.4-litre V8 engine that churns out an impressive 523 bhp and 750 Nm, ensuring exhilarating performance.
Visually, the SUV exudes sophistication with four exterior colour choices—Borasco Grey, Ostuni Pearl White, Santorini Black, and Carpathian Grey—paired with standard 22-inch alloy wheels. The imported CBU variant expands customization possibilities, offering wheel sizes from 21 to 23 inches, a broader palette of body colours, and premium interior trim options.

Inside, the 2026 Range Rover Sport Autobiography is a showcase of modern luxury. While the locally assembled model comes fully loaded, the CBU derivative allows buyers to tailor features through optional packages.
