Volkswagen launches the 2026 Volkswagen Taigun facelift at ₹11 lakh with a refreshed design, new features, and variant-wise updates.
Volkswagen India has officially launched the 2026 Taigun facelift, bringing a sharper design, new features, and a more competitive price structure to its popular compact SUV. The refreshed Taigun now starts at ₹11 lakh (ex-showroom), making it ₹42,000 cheaper than the outgoing base model, while the top-spec GT Plus Sport variant is priced at ₹19.30 lakh.

The 2026 Volkswagen Taigun Facelift introduces redesigned LED headlights with integrated fog lamps, a connected LED light bar, reprofiled bumpers, and illuminated logos. At the rear, linked LED tail-lights enhance the SUV’s modern appeal.
Inside, automatic climate control is now standard across all trims, while the infotainment system gets a sleeker bezel-free touchscreen and a new digital instrument cluster. The highlight addition is a panoramic sunroof, available exclusively on the Topline variant.

Volkswagen has replaced the older 6-speed automatic with a new 8-speed automatic gearbox for the 1.0-litre TSI engine, available from the Highline variant onwards. The 1.5-litre TSI continues with the 7-speed DSG automatic, as manual options have been phased out due to low demand.
