Honda ZR-V Hybrid SUV launched; the ZR-V, priced at ₹47.99 lakh with 22.8 kmpl efficiency and premium features.
Honda Cars India has officially introduced its first hybrid SUV, the Honda ZR-V Hybrid, marking a significant milestone for the Japanese automaker in the Indian market. Priced at ₹47.99 lakh (ex-showroom, introductory), the ZR-V arrives as a completely built-up unit (CBU) from Japan, with deliveries set to begin soon.

The ZR-V stands as Honda’s largest offering in India, measuring 4,657 mm in length, 1,840 mm in width, and 1,621 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,655 mm. Its design language is sharp and modern, featuring slim LED headlamps, a gloss-black grille, wraparound LED tail-lamps with U-shaped signatures, a roof spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets. The SUV rides on stylish 18-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the ZR-V offers an all-black cabin with leather upholstery, contrast stitching, and metallic trim inserts. The dashboard integrates a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10-inch digital instrument cluster. Comfort and convenience are elevated with dual-zone climate control, a 12-speaker Bose audio system, powered front seats with driver memory, wireless charging, and Honda’s Acoustic Vehicle Alert System (AVAS) for low-speed EV driving.

Safety is comprehensive, with eight airbags, disc brakes on all four wheels, and Honda’s ADAS suite, which includes adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane keep assist, and driver attention monitoring.
Under the hood, the ZR-V is powered by Honda’s 2.0-litre strong-hybrid e:HEV system, combining a petrol engine with an electric motor. The SUV delivers 181 bhp and 315 Nm, achieving 0–100 kmph in 7.9 seconds and a top speed of 173 kmph. The highlight, however, is its impressive fuel efficiency of 22.80 kmpl, making it one of the most efficient premium SUVs in its class.
