Avore EX Electric Motorcycle Launched: Price Starts at Rs 1.25 Lakh

Avore EX electric motorcycle launched in India with three variants, up to 260 km range, sporty design, and AI-enabled features.

India’s electric two-wheeler market has welcomed a bold new entrant with the launch of the Avore EX electric motorcycle, priced from ₹1.25 lakh (ex-showroom, introductory). This debut offering from EV start-up Avore is available in three variants—EX1, EX2, and EX2 S—each tailored to different performance and range needs.

The Avore EX electric motorcycle series blends sporty naked street-bike styling with futuristic electric technology. The battery pack replaces the traditional engine space, while the motor sits neatly within the rear swingarm, powering the rear wheel via a belt drive.

The EX1, priced at ₹1.25 lakh for the first 10,000 customers, features a 3.24 kWh battery delivering up to 160 km range. Its 7.5 kW motor achieves 0–40 km/h in 3.2 seconds, with a top speed of 100 km/h. The EX2, priced at ₹1.50 lakh, upgrades to a 5 kWh battery, extending range to 255 km while retaining the same performance figures. The flagship EX2 S, at ₹1.70 lakh, boosts power to 10.5 kW, cutting the 0–40 km/h sprint to 2.8 seconds and raising top speed to 114 km/h, with a slightly improved 260 km range.

All three variants deliver an impressive 250 Nm of wheel torque, ensuring strong acceleration. Charging options vary: the EX1 uses a standard 5A charger, while the EX2 and EX2 S benefit from a 1500W fast charger that replenishes 20–80% in just two hours.

On the features front, Avore equips the EX series with disc brakes at both ends, a combi-braking system, and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. The EX2 S stands out with a TFT display offering AI-enabled functions. Connectivity is comprehensive, with built-in GPS, 4G SIM, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi support.
