Mini Cooper S GP Inspired Edition Launched in India, limited to 30 units with exclusive styling and performance upgrades.
Mini India has introduced a new limited-run hot hatch, the Mini Cooper S GP Inspired Edition, priced at ₹58.9 lakh (ex-showroom). With only 30 units allocated for the Indian market, this special edition blends exclusivity with performance, drawing inspiration from the iconic Mini GP lineage.

The Mini Cooper S GP Inspired Edition stands out with its striking ‘Legend Grey’ paintwork, contrasted by bold ‘Chilli Red’ accents on the roof, mirror caps, and bumper winglets. A JCW-spec bumper, grille, and red tow strap further emphasise its motorsport-inspired character. Unique touches such as ‘GP Inspired’ lettering, bonnet stripes, and a ‘1 of 30’ badge on the C-pillar highlight its rarity.
Adding to the aggressive stance are JCW-spec 18-inch alloy wheels, a roof-mounted wing, rear diffuser, and distinctive LED lighting animations. Inside, the cabin borrows from the JCW Pack trim, featuring a black dashboard with red accents, knitted fabric panels, and JCW Sport Seats in Vescin Black with red stitching. Branding continues across the door sills, floor mats, and steering wheel, reinforcing its special-edition identity.

Tech and comfort are not compromised. The hatchback comes equipped with a 9.4-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Harman Kardon audio, panoramic glass roof, wireless charging, ambient lighting, and OTA updates. Safety is enhanced with Level 1 ADAS, a rearview camera, and stability control.
Under the hood, the Mini Cooper S GP Inspired Edition packs a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine delivering 204hp and 300Nm, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Mini claims a 0-100kph sprint in 6.6 seconds and a top speed of 242kph, ensuring performance matches its bold styling.
