Nissan Tekton SUV launched in India at ₹10.49 lakh, offering bold design, turbo-petrol engines, premium features and more.
Nissan has officially introduced its much-awaited midsize SUV, the Nissan Tekton, in India at a starting price of ₹10.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Positioned as a badge-engineered sibling of the Renault Duster, the Tekton blends familiar mechanicals with Nissan’s distinctive design language and premium cabin upgrades, making it a strong contender in the crowded midsize SUV segment.

The Nissan Tekton is available in six trims—Visia, Visia+, Acenta, N-Connecta, Tekna, and Tekna+—with prices ranging between ₹10.49 lakh and ₹18.59 lakh. Customers can choose between a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 100hp and a more powerful 1.3-litre turbo-petrol unit delivering 163hp. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCT).
The 1.0-litre engine claims a fuel efficiency of 19.4 kmpl, while the larger 1.3-litre unit offers up to 18.5 kmpl depending on the gearbox. Acceleration figures are impressive too, with the 1.3-litre manual sprinting from 0-100 km/h in just 9.51 seconds.

Inspired by Nissan’s flagship Patrol SUV, the Tekton sports a bold, boxy stance. Key design elements include: Upright chrome grille with slim LED headlamps, Full-width C-shaped LED DRLs and tail-lamps, 18-inch alloy wheels with flared arches, Dual-tone bumpers with faux skid plates, Tekton lettering on both bonnet and tailgate. The SUV is offered in six colour options, including Onyx Black, Pearl White, and Moonbow Grey, available in both monotone and dual-tone finishes.
Inside, the Tekton raises the bar with a dual-tone rose gold and burgundy cabin theme. Premium features include a 10.1-inch infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and a powered tailgate. Safety is equally prioritised with six airbags, Level-2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, and a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating.
